On\nthe Fair Life website, it states that (the animals are) \u201cAlways in Good\nHands\u201d.&nbsp;Despite these claims, ARM revealed what it considers to be, the\nfirst realistic and honest audit of the Fair Oaks Farm and Fair Life\nCorporation\u2019s operations, including the daily mistreatment of the resident farm\nanimals. Information that has been hidden from the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ARM\u2019s investigation of Fair Oaks Farms Dairy Adventures also\nexposed a connection to the cruel and inhumane veal industry where male calves\nare transported to locations in North Manchester from Fair Oaks Farms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fair Oaks Farms is one of several dairies belonging to Select Milk Producers Inc, who is also the producer of the Fairlife label. ARM describes itself online as a \u201cnonprofit\ninvestigative organization dedicated to eliminating severe animal cruelty\noperations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEmployees were observed slapping, kicking, punching,\npushing, throwing and slamming calves,\u201d ARM said in a statement. \u201cCalves were\nstabbed and beaten with steel rebars, hit in the mouth and face with hard\nplastic milking bottles, kneed in the spine, burned in the face with hot\nbranding irons, subjected to extreme temperatures, provided with improper\nnutrition, and denied medical attention.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Coca-Cola Corporation, which distributes Fairlife\nproducts, also said in a statement it has been in contact with Fairlife about\nthe situation and has \u201cfull confidence in their management team to urgently\naddress this issue with Fair Oaks Farms, which is a third-party supplier to Fairlife.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey recognize the seriousness of this situation as their\nfounding principles are grounded in a strong commitment to sustainability,\ntransparency and the highest standards of animal welfare,\u201d Coca-Cola said in a\nstatement. \u201cFair Oaks Farms notified Fairlife that they immediately isolated\ndairy supply from the dairy identified in the video to suspend all sourcing\nfrom that location\u2026We fully support and respect the proactive approach that Fairlife\nand Fair Oaks Farms have taken and we continue to stay in contact with them to\nlend any support they need.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brian West Publix Media &amp; Community Relations Manager said,\n\u201cWe were recently made aware of allegations of animal abuse at a supplier to\nthe Fairlife brand. Like you, we are disturbed by the images and shocked by the\ncruelty shown toward the animals. Because we are committed to the humane\ntreatment and care of animals, we have reached out to our supplier to discuss\nthese serious allegations. We have been assured that a thorough investigation\nis being conducted to determine what corrective actions should be taken. We\nremain focused on collaborating with our suppliers to advance efforts that\ncontinuously improve the safety and well-being of all animals.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jewel-Osco said it plans to remove all Fairlife products\nfrom its shelves after an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcchicago.com\/news\/local\/fair-oaks-farms-indiana-abuse-undercover-video-animal-recovery-mission-arm-510862941.html\">undercover\nvideo was made public<\/a>&nbsp;this week showing \u201cthe inhumane treatment of\nanimals\u201d at Indiana\u2019s Fair Oaks Farms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt Jewel-Osco we strive to maintain high animal welfare\nstandards across all areas of our business, and work in partnership with our\nvendors to ensure those standards are upheld,\u201d the grocery chain said in a\nstatement Wednesday. \u201cWe apologize for any inconvenience.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chick-fil-a has agreement to make Greek yogurt parfaits with\nFairlife (Fair Oak Farms) since 2015<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chick-fil-a a Christian base company states on their website\nfounder Truett Cathy saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and\nhis employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose &#8211; a\npractice we uphold today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Chick-fil-a they are looking to this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Southeastern Grocers which owns BI-LO.
