1. Recently in Lehigh Acres the same local 1826 Fire\nFighters union leaders that sign the union contract with the Lehigh Acres fire\ndistrict board sent out a flyer asking you to vote yes. TRUE!<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. This union leader (a VP of the Lehigh Acres Fire District\nunion 1826 at the time of this article https:\/\/www.nbc-2.com\/story\/37398368\/local-firefighter-union-vice-president-accused-of-misappropriating-funds<\/a>\n), shown in the article, reveals the local 1826 Fire Fighters union has a lack\nof public accountability in handling the members money. It is the same way the\nfire district has proven to handle ours. Recklessly spending, not sufficiently\ninsured, poor FEMA preparations, no public accountability, threatening voters\nand last but not least a fire district board member who oversees finances and\nvotes on union contracts is married to a benefitting employee. TRUE!<\/strong> \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Fire Commissioner Lucia Gomez Sherman, received hundreds\nof dollars from the union to put on the most expensive fire district campaign\never in Lee County history. TRUE!<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Fire Commissioner Lucia Gomez Sherman, husband is a\nfirefighter working for the Lehigh acres Fire District. TRUE!<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Fire Commissioner Cathy Kruse, son is a firefighter\nworking for the Lehigh acres Fire District. TRUE!<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Documents show that the Chief officers of the Lehigh\nAcres Fire Department will be receiving a 5% pay raise on Oct 1, 2019, and an\nadditional 5% Pay raise on Oct 1, 2020. TRUE!<\/strong>

\n7. Also, documents show that the Firefighters of the Lehigh Acres Fire\nDepartment will be receiving a 4% pay raise on Oct 1, 2019, and an additional\n4% Pay raise on Oct 1, 2020. TRUE!<\/strong>

\n8. Union hires a local PAC to send out flyers to convince voters to vote for\nthe new fire fee assessment …..  the new fire fee assessment brings in\nmore 10 million dollars extra a year with no future notifications required. TRUE!<\/strong>
