He also had\nhis driver\u2019s license revoked for life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/BRIGHT-TERRENCE-JAMAL.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42971\" width=\"289\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/BRIGHT-TERRENCE-JAMAL.jpg 480w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/BRIGHT-TERRENCE-JAMAL-240x300.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 289px) 100vw, 289px\" \/><figcaption> Terrence Bright <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In June 2017, Bright was traveling at nearly twice the\nposted 45 mile per hour speed limit in Lehigh Acres as he crossed through the\nintersection of Leonard Boulevard and Hightower Avenue South at about midnight.\nHe crashed his Nissan Rogue sport vehicle into a Dodge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intrepid sedan hitting the driver\u2019s side rear of the\nvehicle. The driver was killed in the crash and two passengers were injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bright had a blood alcohol level of .177, twice the legal\nlimit. He also had marijuana in his system. Bright pleaded no contest as part\nof a plea agreement. Aside from his prison sentence and probation he has many\nother sanctions which include; a $1,000 fine, restitution to the family, court\ncosts and DUI fines, attend a DUI school and have drug and alcohol evaluation\nand treatment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today Terrence Bright was sentenced to 11 years in prison followed by 4 years of probation for one count of DUI Manslaughter.
