Marquise Cherry a nine-year-old student at Mirror Lakes Elementary School, had his arm twisted by the school principal Robert Cooper on Monday and now has to wear a sling for several weeks.<\/p>\n

He put me to the wall and that is when he started bending my arm, said Marquise Cherry<\/p>\n

Cherry said the school principal hurt him so bad, school employees sent him to the hospital in an ambulance. It hurts was really, really bad, he said.<\/p>\n

Cherry explained he and a group of students were teasing each other.<\/p>\n

The principal told them to stop, grabbed Cherry, put him against the wall and twisted his arm behind his back.<\/p>\n

Marquise\u2019s father, Robert, was totally shocked when he found out what happened to has son<\/p>\n

Being that he is a professional in the school district he should have more control of himself, Robert Cherry said.<\/p>\n

Robert Cherry added that his son hasn\u2019t had any previous confrontations with the school principal and that he isn\u2019t a child who creates problems.<\/p>\n

The family met with district officials Tuesday morning to report what happened and their case is being reviewed.<\/p>\n

Marquise Cherry has been suspended and family is considering changing schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
