\"\"Gulf Coast Writers Association 2017 Writing Contest will shortly be closed\u00a0for submissions. We\u00a0have extended\u00a0accepting entries until December 15th!\u00a0Categories this year are\u00a0Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry. Children\u2019s lit should be submitted to the Fiction category. All submissions need to be typed, double-spaced, etc (as directions now read) and either mailed or emailed.<\/p>\n

If sending in the mail, the entry must be in a 10 X 12 envelope labeled by category, Addressed to GCWA 2017 writing contest, and have a check or money order for the fees. PO Box 60771 Fort Myers\u00a0 Fl 33906<\/p>\n

If sending via email, they can be emailed to\u00a0Events@GulfWriters.org<\/a>. Emailed submissions need to be in PDF format so software incompatibilities will not interfere with formatting.
