Fire Union Lapdog William Liedtke Assaults Reporter<\/strong><\/em>

Election Day in Lehigh Acres never seems to go smoothly, from stealing signs to hate speech. One local candidate for the fire board has taken it to a whole new level by adding assault and attempted hit and run to the mix.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

While covering the elections at local polling centers, Fire Board Candidate William Liedtke assaulted one Lehigh Acres Gazette staff writer\/photographer.<\/p>\n

Liedtke, was blocking the entryway of the polling center at\u00a0Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church with his vehicle, forcing every voter to pull around his vehicle as one of the fire union members or staffer of Liedtke campaign knocked on the windows of the entering voters to hand them a this is who they must vote for.<\/p>\n

At this point our staff writer\/photographer began taking picture as Leidtke and his people began verbally attacking our staff writer\/photographer. Leidtke jumped into his vehicle and speed around the parking lot nearly hitting\u00a0 our staff writer\/photographer. Now very upset at nearly being run down our staff writer\/photographer also lost his cool and began cursing back, but still taking pictures the whole time.<\/p>\n

William Liedtke is also tied to the defacing of fire board opponents signs at every polling center in Lehigh Acres.<\/p>\n

The Lee County Sheriff Office is investigating (CFS#16-508628) the assault and attempted hit and run <\/em>of our staff writer\/photographer by William Liedtke.<\/p>\n

Now we at the Lehigh Acres Gazette do apologize for our staff writer\/photographer and have reprimanded this\u00a0staff writer\/photographer for his actions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
