\"\"The Lee County Supervisor of Elections Office mailed out 154,528 civilian-domestic vote-by-mail ballots on schedule despite the bad weather.<\/p>\n

Please keep in mind that several United States Postal Service (USPS) processing plants and distribution centers in Florida closed at\u00a0Noon\u00a0yesterday due to Hurricane Matthew and will not reopen until\u00a08:00 a.m.,\u00a0Saturday, 10\/08.\u00a0 Additionally,\u00a0Monday, 10\/10\u00a0is Columbus Day, a USPS holiday.\u00a0 Voters may or may not experience a delay in receiving their vote-by-mail ballots, therefore, a reasonable wait time for our voters to expect their ballots from our 10\/07 mailing is\u00a0Monday, 10\/17.<\/p>\n

There is still time to request to vote-by\u2014mail.\u00a0 Voters may call 239-LEE-VOTE\u00a0(239-533-8683<\/a>), email requests to\u00a0votebymail@lee.vote<\/a>\u00a0or visit\u00a0www.lee.vote<\/a>.\u00a0 The last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot is\u00a05:00 p.m.\u00a0Wednesday, November 2nd.<\/p>\n

Voted ballots must be physically returned (not just postmarked) to the Supervisor of Elections Office by\u00a07 p.m.\u00a0on Election Day,\u00a0November 8, 2016.\u00a0 Any vote-by-mail ballot delivered to Main Office after\u00a07:00 p.m., Election Day will be accepted but cannot be tabulated.Office after\u00a07:00 p.m., Election Day will be accepted but cannot be tabulated.<\/p>\n

Voters who want to hand-deliver his or her vote by mail ballot, the following is available:<\/p>\n
