{"id":41154,"date":"2016-09-14T20:39:54","date_gmt":"2016-09-15T00:39:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=41154"},"modified":"2016-09-14T20:40:24","modified_gmt":"2016-09-15T00:40:24","slug":"narcotics-investigation-yields-large-amounts-of-cocaine-heroin-in-lehigh-acres","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2016\/09\/narcotics-investigation-yields-large-amounts-of-cocaine-heroin-in-lehigh-acres\/","title":{"rendered":"Narcotics Investigation Yields Large Amounts of Cocaine, Heroin in Lehigh Acres"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-41155\" title=\"dope 4\" src=\"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/dope-4-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/dope-4-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/dope-4-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>A month-long investigation leads to the discovery of sizeable amount of drugs inside a Lehigh Acres residence and to the arrest of two people staying there.<\/p>\n<p>This morning, the Narcotics\/Vice Unit with the assistance of East (SET)\u00a0Selective Enforcement Team\u00a0and the Special Operations Unit executed a search warrant at 1108 Firth Avenue in Lehigh Acres.\u00a0 Inside the residence they found\u00a0an array of drugs, including more than a quarter kilogram of powder cocaine, sixteen (16) grams of crack cocaine, forty-one (41) grams of heroin, marijuana and a handgun.<\/p>\n<p>The focus of the investigation was Janaul &#8220;J&#8221; Green (DOB 2-5-87), who detectives call a &#8220;mid to upper level dealer.&#8221;\u00a0 Green was not at the residence when the search warrant was executed and deputies continue their search for him.<\/p>\n<p>Two other people inside the residence were arrested and charged.\u00a0 Alexis Peterson (DOB 6-5-88) is charged with Cocaine Trafficking, Heroin Trafficking and Possession of Marijuana over 20 grams.\u00a0 Joshua Bigay (DOB 4-30-94) is charged with Possession of Marijuana under 20 grams.<\/p>\n<p>Current charges are pending for Janaul Green\u00a0for Heroin Trafficking, Cocaine Trafficking, and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Sale of Heroin and Cocaine within 1000 feet of place of Worship and Possession of Marijuana under 20 grams.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our relentless focus on drug enforcement roars on, and we will not tolerate this in our community,&#8221; says Sheriff Mike Scott.\u00a0 &#8220;These poison pushers will be held accountable for their dirty deeds.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A month-long investigation leads to the discovery of sizeable amount of drugs inside a Lehigh Acres residence and to the arrest of two people staying there.
