It’s\u00a0that time of the year when the General\u00a0Woman’s\u00a0Club\u00a0of Lehigh Acres starts its new\u00a0club\u00a0year.\u00a0 The\u00a0club\u00a0has been around for more than 55 years and is still going strong.\u00a0 These ladies meet once a month from September through May to raise funds for scholarships for deserving Lehigh Acres residents\u00a0 and also donate to several non-profit organizations in Lehigh and in Ft. Myers. They also had some fun during summer. \u00a0 Several\u00a0club\u00a0members met for lunch and a fashion show at\u00a0Chico’s\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0Bell Tower during the summer as shown in the attached photo. \u00a0 From left to right are Karen Geckler, Karen McKenzie, Beverly Presnel, Pat Von Diemar, Diane Lashua, Miriam Anderson\u00a0and\u00a0Nancy Bragg.<\/p>\n
