The system is nonetheless already causing trouble elsewhere. It\u2019s been\u00a0blamed for six deaths in Dominican Republic, and the governments of Mexico, Belize, Honduras have issued tropical storm warnings. The storm\u00a0threatens to bring heavy rains, flooding and high winds to those countries, the hurricane center said.<\/p>\n

Shortly before noon Tuesday, the storm was centered about 535 miles east of Belize City in the Caribbean. It was speeding west at 22 mph.<\/p>\n

The Governments of Mexico and Belize have issued a Tropical Storm Warning and a Hurricane Watch for the east coast of the Yucatan peninsula from Punta Allen, Mexico, southward to the Belize\/ Guatemala border. The Government of Honduras has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for the entire north coast of Honduras from Cabo Gracias a Dios westward to the Honduras\/Guatemala border including the Bay Islands.<\/p>\n
