\"\"<\/a>Lee County Sheriff Office is searching for suspect in a violent robbery that occurred Thursday in Lehigh Acres.<\/p>\n

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said the suspect, a black male, approached the victims – a man and pregnant woman – just after 10 p.m. in the parking lot of their apartment complex, Vista Palms on Stafford Creek Boulevard.<\/p>\n

The suspect held a gun on them, demanding their cell phones and cash. The male victim handed over $2, which is what he had on him. The suspect insisted it wasn’t enough and repeatedly stated, “Do you wanna die?” while pointing the muzzle of his gun at the victim’s head, according to the report.<\/p>\n

After a few moments, the suspect grabbed the pregnant female by the arm, forcing her and her husband inside their apartment. When the male victim and the suspect got into a physical altercation, the victim’s 67-year-old father entered the mix in an attempt to protect his son. \u00a0During the melee, both the father and son were pistol whipped. After several minutes, the suspect grabbed the disabled victim’s mother’s cane and a cell phone, then fled the complex.<\/p>\n

The suspect is described as approximately Black male 6’0″, 175-200 pounds, in his late 20s or early 30s, with a two- to five-inch beard. He was wearing a camouflage jacket, black cargo pants and a handkerchief on his face. \u00a0He used a black semi-automatic pistol during the robbery.<\/p>\n
