Lehigh Acres, FL.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses stated they heard Placido and his wife Amparo arguing outside and then they heard gun shots. Ricardo Vaca was a neighbor to the Moreno\u2019s and he too heard the arguing.\u00a0 In his concern he went to the Moreno\u2019s driveway to intercede and mediate between Placido and Amparo.\u00a0 His neighborly act appears to be his only involvement in the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Placido shot and killed both Amparo and Ricardo then fled the scene on foot.\u00a0 Amparo and Ricardo succumbed to their injuries on scene.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the nature of the crime, detectives with the Major Cases Unit responded and conducted the investigation.\u00a0 Witnesses quickly led to the identity of Placido and search efforts were underway for him immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Placido was located and has been arrested.\u00a0 He will be booked into the Lee County Jail for two counts of homicide and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Placido Moreno-Torres, DOB: 10\/05\/1968, was identified as the person responsible for the double homicide on June 18, 2016 at\u00a03511 9TH St. W.
