\"\"<\/a>Have you noticed the moving trucks pulling up to homes that prior to were overgrown with brown grass and tattered looking front yards. \u00a0Houses are getting fixed up,\u00a0 Palm trees transplanted \u00a0and bright colored mulch is being placed in bedding of bushes and flowers will be blooming all over Lehigh Acres. Spring is almost here.\u00a0 The exciting news though is the amount of homes that we are seeing bought and cleaned up and Lehigh appears to be coming alive again.<\/p>\n

Real Estate is moving.\u00a0 Prices are still very affordable and many northerner\u2019s have\u00a0 made SW Florida their second home.\u00a0 Investors are able to make deals that make profits for them that they are not able to achieve by the stock market.\u00a0 All over the country, folks are paying attention to the weekly auction of homes ready to move in right here in Lehigh.\u00a0 They are looking pretty to the eye and marketing us so close to beaches but just far enough to save on insurance and taxes, you hear over and over again Lehigh is the place to be.\u00a0 \u00a0Realtors are working hard, showing properties to buyers and spending time presenting their marketing plan and comparative market analysis for sellers.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s recap February\u2019s numbers.\u00a0 The following are statistics using the local MLS Board<\/p>\n

860 SFR homes were on the market,\u00a0 378 short sales, 86 foreclosures and \u00a0396 arm\u2019s length listings.<\/p>\n

107 New Properties were listed in February<\/p>\n

184 homes sold at an average price of $65,983.\u00a0 43 were listed as REO,\u00a0 42 short sales and 99 properties were arm\u2019s length transactions.<\/p>\n

152 went pending in the month of Feb.<\/p>\n

As we spoke about last month, the numbers sold are greater than the being placed on the market during the same period which are big signs the market is getting healthier.<\/p>\n
