Two homes were sprayed with gunfire over the weekend.<\/p>\n
One at 2253 10th Court and another at 1019 Joel Boulevard in Lehigh Acres.<\/p>\n
Investigators report\u00a0it all started with a case of road rage.<\/p>\n
Victims told deputies a Honda was driving on the wrong side of the road on Joel Boulevard.\u00a0When they honked to alert them, that Honda followed them home.<\/p>\n
“That one that one that one and the one way up there,” one Lehigh Acres resident said, as she pointed out the bullet holes in her boyfriend’s home.<\/p>\n
We counted at least four bullets that hit the house.<\/p>\n
“Nobody got hurt, thank God,” said the woman who wishes to remain\u00a0anonymous, as she’s afraid the shooters may return. “The house and trucks got shot and we were just like [blank face].”<\/p>\n
Only one bullet made it inside.<\/p>\n
“What’s going on? I was very nervous,” said neighbor\u00a0Eli Orozco, after seeing all the investigators surrounding the house on 10th Court.<\/p>\n
The gunfire shot off around\u00a05 o’clock\u00a0Sunday\u00a0morning.<\/p>\n
“Wow, man, probably like eight or 10,” said Eli, counting the shots he heard that morning.<\/p>\n
Another bullet, missing its target on 10th\u00a0Court, zoomed passed neighbors, hitting a house just yards away.<\/p>\n
“It was like it was like boom, boom and then boom, boom, boom, boom,” said Eli, repeating what he heard.<\/p>\n
“We were worried, but we didn’t know what happened,” the anonymous woman told us.<\/p>\n
Inside the second home, riddled with bullets, two young girls were fast asleep.<\/p>\n
They didn’t even wake up as the shots were fired.<\/p>\n
According to reports, the only description victims could give of the shooters is that they were driving a Honda.<\/p>\n
