Both are first-degree felonies.<\/p>\n<p>Ortuno is a former bank teller for BMO-Harris Bank in Bonita Springs. Authorities say she used the personal information of a bank client to create fraudulent deposit slips and illegally withdraw approximately $201,000 from the client\u2019s bank account over a period of 15 months.<\/p>\n<p>When the client reported the theft to the bank, Ortuno left the bank for personal reasons and was later terminated.<\/p>\n<p>This crime not sitting well with current or future clients.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I just had a little banking business in there just now, but I don&#8217;t know if I would trust my account here,&#8221; says customer Wayne Welch.<\/p>\n<p>BMO-Harris Bank released the following statement:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe take the protection of our customer assets very seriously. This was an isolated incident and we have fully reimbursed the customer for related withdrawals. I cannot comment on the specifics as this is now a police matter.
