An exact timeline for the closures wasn\u2019t given.<\/p>\n<p>Carrying just more than $1 billion in debt, Sports Authority \u2014 under the increasing pressure of the sporting goods industry \u2014 reportedly notified the U.S. Bankruptcy court that it would not reorganize.
