\"\"<\/a>From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on April 7th Lehigh Acres local teen’s will be coming together to give their time and have some fun holding a car wash. The car was is to raise money for the new program From Detention To Prevention.<\/p>\n

Donna Arnold took her tragedy of losing her son and turned it into a program for teens and young adults.<\/p>\n

Pastor Larry Gregory from Victory Christian Center in Lehigh Acres\u00a0has donated his church parking lot for the car wash.<\/p>\n

The Victory Christian Center is at 1201 Taylor lane EXT. Lehigh Acres<\/a>. The Church is behind Burger King on Homestead Road. Please bring out your cars the kids are so excited to pitch in and wash your cars for donations.<\/p>\n

\u201cfrom Detention to Prevention, Inc.\u201d <\/strong>was a strong \u2018thought\u2019 that came in my mind the morning I was to speak at the Detention Center. Having spoken there since 1997, this time I realized that I needed to do something \u201cAFTER\u201d they were released, too! Three of the youths who signed up became members and have shared their stories and talents with a very receptive community! website<\/a><\/p>\n

As the days passed, the program\u2019s outline began to take place and I wanted<\/p>\n

to create a sense of responsibility and respect in a youth\/young adults hearts and outlooks by giving them the opportunity to speak to the community about their bad choices, to capitalize on their individual talents by making them a part of the presentation and to build a safe-place<\/span><\/strong> for the youths\/young adults of surrounding areas to congregate without disrespect or fighting, and it costs them nothing<\/span><\/em><\/strong>for transportation, food, fun and friends!<\/p>\n

And with the help of the community who believe that these youths are our future, I believe that my heart\u2019s desire will come true, and I truly hope to have this facility built within 2 years!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
