Harris\u2019 family members showed up to the area, but were not given any information regarding the body\u2019s identity at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Her death is being\u00a0investigated as a homicide, the state Department of Law Enforcement said.<\/p>\n<p>Harris, 50, was last seen on April 9. Family and friends became concerned after she didn\u2019t show up for a family gathering. Her\u00a02005 silver GMC Yukon\u00a0was found two days later with its windows broken in a flea market parking lot on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.<\/p>\n<p>One of Harris\u2019 daughters, Ebony, said\u00a0blood was found inside her vehicle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A body found in a wooded area along the Lee-Hendry county line last week has been identified as Alberta Harris, Fort Myers police\u00a0said.
