The General Woman\u2019s Club of Lehigh Acres, is once again hosting their Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon on\u00a0Saturday, March 26, 2016.\u00a0\u00a0This year\u2019s theme is Bling into Spring!<\/p>\nThe General Woman\u2019s Club of Lehigh Acres, is once again hosting their Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon on\u00a0Saturday, March 26, 2016.\u00a0\u00a0This year\u2019s theme is Bling into Spring!<\/p>\n
Our records show that the Club has been hosting a Fashion Show Luncheon at various locations since 1985 to help raise funds in order to award scholarships to residents of Lehigh Acres.\u00a0\u00a0This year the Club is also celebrating their 55th<\/sup>\u00a0Anniversary.<\/p>\n Every year members of the Club work together to contact local sponsor to donate gifts to help us raise additional funds.\u00a0\u00a0At the luncheon we will have a 50\/50 drawing which is everyone\u2019s favorite and raffles on many baskets and gift certificates.\u00a0\u00a0If you are interested in being a sponsor please contact Miriam Anderson at\u00a0239-823-3892<\/a>\u00a0or sent an email at\u00a0generalwomansclub@yahoo.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n The luncheon will be held at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Myers, from\u00a011:30am to 3:00pm.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Colonial Country Club always provides a fabulous meal and service to all out guests.<\/p>\n The fashions presented at this event is by Chico\u2019s from the Bell Tower Shoppes.\u00a0\u00a0Chico\u2019s is presenting their latest spring fashion line, while giving eight Club members the honor to model their fashions.\u00a0\u00a0Models show above are from left to right, sitting:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Linda Addison, Diane Lashua, Connie Puzevic Tickets are $25 per person for the luncheon and can be purchased by contacting the event\u2019s chairman, Miriam Anderson\u00a0at\u00a0239-823-3892<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0No tickets will be sold at the door.<\/p>\n In the past few years many of the scholarship recipients have written to us thanking us for the scholarships and to tell us how helpful they have been and how appreciative they are.\u00a0\u00a0They continue to write and keep us up to date on the progress of their education and career.\u00a0\u00a0If you are a single parent living in Lehigh Acres, with minor children living at home and currently enrolled in a college, university or technical school and are interested in applying for a scholarship please contact Ms. Diane Lashua at\u00a0412-708-0422<\/a>\u00a0or at\u00a0lashuad@comcast.net<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The General Woman\u2019s Club of Lehigh Acres, is once again hosting their Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon on\u00a0Saturday, March 26, 2016.\u00a0\u00a0This year\u2019s theme is Bling into Spring!
