\"\"Southwest Florida<\/span>\u00a0Crime Stoppers is asking for the public\u2019s help identifying and tracking down two men who burst into a Lehigh Acres home early\u00a0Thursday\u00a0morning, spraying bullets at a mother and her two children.<\/span><\/p>\n

Around\u00a04:20 a.m.\u00a0on Thursday, February 18, the victim\u2019s husband left for work at his usual time.\u00a0 It\u2019s commonplace for him to knock on the door if he forgets something after he leaves.\u00a0 Minutes after his departure yesterday, there was a knock at the door of the\u00a025th<\/sup>\u00a0Street SW\u00a0home and, assuming it was his father, a 14 year old juvenile answered the door.\u00a0 However, standing at the doorstep were two tall, masked white or Hispanic males, who pointed a silver semi-automatic pistol at the boy.\u00a0 In fear for his life, he screamed and ran away, waking up his mother and nine year old sister.\u00a0 The men entered the house and when the mother came out of the bedroom to see what was happening, the men opened fire inside the home, aiming the bullets at the bedroom where the nine year old was sleeping.\u00a0 The men fled the scene in a black SUV, which had been spotted by witnesses parked on\u00a024th<\/sup>\u00a0Street SW\u00a0shortly before the shootings.\u00a0 The truck was last seen headed eastbound with no lights on.\u00a0 Fortunately, no one was injured during the home invasion robbery.<\/span><\/p>\n
