We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-38887\" title=\"comcast_1455554752192_850198_ver1.0\" src=\"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/comcast_1455554752192_850198_ver1.0-300x208.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"208\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/comcast_1455554752192_850198_ver1.0-300x208.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/comcast_1455554752192_850198_ver1.0.jpg 545w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>A lot of people are tweeting that they can&#8217;t reach customer service.<\/p>\n<p>Also Comcast website states: \u201cAn update is currently underway and what you\u2019re trying to access isn\u2019t available right now. We\u2019ll have everything back up and running in just a few hours, so please try back later. Thanks for your understanding as we work to make this the best customer experience possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Comcast&#8217;s website, the outage reports began at 7:20 a.m. PT and within an hour they peaked with 446 outage reports.<\/p>\n<p>While some internet outages have been reported, the majority of reports appear to center around cable channels being unavailable.<\/p>\n<p>We checked out Comcast box at Lehigh Acres Gazette and noticed that the local channels were available, but extended cable channels were not.<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of people have also posted about this outage on social media.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Comcast is responding to a nationwide outage that&#8217;s affecting thousands of its television and internet customers Monday morning.
