The vehicle was identified as a 2008 silver Dodge Caliber which was\u00a0submerged with just the roof showing.<\/p>\n<p>The Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office Dive Team responded and assisted in securing the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the nature of the incident Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Traffic Homicide Investigators responded to the scene. The preliminary investigation revealed on February 4, 2016 between\u00a09 and 10 pm, the 2008 Dodge Caliber was traveling south on North Avenue, left the roadway, and entered the canal. There are no indications of any other vehicles involved and at this time and the incident is being investigated as a traffic crash.<\/p>\n<p>Located in the vehicle were\u00a0husband and wife,\u00a0Marie A. Oszust DOB 05-02-1952, and\u00a0Chester G. Oszust DOB 10-13-1952 both of Lehigh Acres.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased were turned over to the Lee County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office.
