The new center will offer walk-in treatment for everyday illness and injury, including more advanced offerings such as on-site X-rays, IVs, labs, minor surgery, stitches and treatment for broken bones, sprains and strains. As a welcoming gift to the community, the Lehigh Acres center is offering free sports physicals to patients ages five-years-old and up from\u00a0Feb. 10 &#8211; 24.<\/p>\n<p>MedExpress also offers basic wellness and prevention services such as sports and general physicals, immunizations and tobacco cessation counseling. Local employers can utilize MedExpress for employer health services such as employee injury care, workers\u2019 compensation, screenings and physicals.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->\u201cWe\u2019re excited to open our center to the Lehigh Acres community,\u201d said Arlene Neal, Regional Vice President of Operations, MedExpress. \u201cWe looked at many factors and the Lehigh Acres community and employers seemed to welcome the type of neighborhood health care we\u2019re known for \u2013 friendly, convenient and affordable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>MedExpress is staffed by a full medical team and is open 12 hours a day,\u00a08 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week and accepts most insurance. With no appointment needed, MedExpress provides a convenient option for unscheduled, time-sensitive care.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know how busy the world is today and how an unexpected illness or injury can be an inconvenience for families and employees,\u201d said Neal. \u201cBut at MedExpress, patients can walk-in, see our friendly medical team and receive high-quality, professional medical treatment in a timely fashion.
