This is a 12 inch sewer force main break that occurred at approximately\u00a010:30 am at the intersection of Homestead Road and Alabama Road in Lehigh Acres, FL.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the break has not yet been determined.\u00a0 Service crews are on site assessing the damage to the pipe.\u00a0\u00a0 Due to the location of the break, repairs are anticipated to take 8-10 hrs.\u00a0\u00a0 Upon completion of repairs, a report will be prepared by US Water Services Corporation, the System Operator and submitted to the Department of Environmental Protection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2:30 pm Update:\u00a0Note so far the turn lane from Homestead Rd to Alabama Rd is CLOSED.
