But\u00a0in December, those close to the negotiations\u00a0said it could not finalize the deal until the first quarter of 2016. The buyer,\u00a0Prime Healthcare Services Inc., has promised to\u00a0hire &#8220;substantially all&#8221; existing employees but revealed little else about its plans for the financially struggling hospital.\u00a0Prime advertises itself as a company that helps turn around troubled health care organizations.
