{"id":37158,"date":"2015-09-25T21:36:46","date_gmt":"2015-09-26T01:36:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=37158"},"modified":"2015-09-25T21:36:46","modified_gmt":"2015-09-26T01:36:46","slug":"domestic-disturbance-call-leads-to-discovery-of-guns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2015\/09\/domestic-disturbance-call-leads-to-discovery-of-guns\/","title":{"rendered":"Domestic Disturbance Call <br>Leads to Discovery of Guns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-37161\" title=\"guns\" src=\"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/guns-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/guns-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/guns.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>When Lee County Sheriff deputies responded\u00a0to a spat between a mother and her son, they did more than break up a fight.\u00a0When all was said and done, the dispute was over and a family acquaintance hauled off to jail\u00a0on Armed Burglary and Grand Theft charges.<\/p>\n<p>It began shortly before\u00a08:00\u00a0yesterday morning when deputies responded to the 4700 block of\u00a021st Street Southwest, Lehigh Acres, to a past occurred burglary to a conveyance.\u00a0 The victim stated his vehicle was broken into and that his handgun and ammunition, along with numerous tools, had been stolen.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Later that evening, deputies responded to a\u00a0domestic disturbance call at\u00a01508 Harlow Avenue South, Lehigh Acres.\u00a0 As deputies interviewed the mother and her teenage son, they witnessed another teen hanging out at the residence who wasn&#8217;t supposed to be there due to conditions of his probation.\u00a0 As deputies questioned those present, they received information that there was a gun inside the home.<\/p>\n<p>For officer safety reasons, deputies asked the homeowner if she knew about any firearms inside the home.\u00a0 The homeowner answered no and gave deputies permission to search.\u00a0 During the search, deputies located four firearms hidden inside the bathroom along with hollow point bullets with black shell casings.<\/p>\n<p>During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to determine that the family friend, Emilio Heinzman, had stolen one of the guns and the hollow point bullets during the vehicle burglary hours earlier on 21st Street Southwest.\u00a0 The investigation also revealed that when\u00a0Heinzman realized law enforcement had been called for the domestic disturbance, he hid the guns inside the residence.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the investigation, Emilio Heinzman 17, of\u00a05313 28th Street Southwest, Lehigh Acres, was arrested and charged with Armed Burglary of a Conveyance and two counts of Grand Theft.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives are still working the case to determine if the other three guns are stolen as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When Lee County Sheriff deputies responded\u00a0to a spat between a mother and her son, they did more than break up a fight.\u00a0When all was said and done, the dispute was&hellip; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":8,"featured_media":37161,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[57,32],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/37158"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/8"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=37158"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/37158\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/37161"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=37158"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=37158"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=37158"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
