The man&#8217;s vehicle plunged into a canal on Ann Avenue, and a neighbor saw it happen and Dixon jumped into action by jumping into the canal and breaking the window and pulling the driver out.<\/p>\n<p>Dixon was cited for pulling the man out of the canal before Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue District arrived on the scene. The accident happened on Aug. 10.<\/p>\n<p>According to Lee County sheriff report, the accident happened at around 9:15 p.m. on a road where there were no streetlights.
