In fact, Ray Gordon took a picture of his son on Homestead Road, holding a sign saying &#8220;I Stole From My Family&#8221; and encouraged passers-by to &#8220;Honk If You Hate Thieves.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The parents claimed they were trying to think outside the box for punishment, and Gordon claims to have received a lot of positive feedback from people who drove by and saw the 11-year-old boy.<\/p>\n<p>Gordon said they&#8217;d tried grounding him and taking things away, and it hadn&#8217;t worked.
