Designated drivers should be selected in advance. The sheriff&#8217;s office would also like to remind the public that &#8220;a designated driver is not the least impaired driver.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Authorities ask that drivers promptly report drunk drivers to law enforcement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lee County deputies are planning a\u00a0DUI checkpoint this weekend beginning on Friday.
