Attempted burglary guy<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Southwest Florida\u00a0Crime Stoppers is asking for the public\u2019s help identifying an unknown, and likely intoxicated suspect, who tried to break into a car in Lehigh Acres earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Surveillance cameras installed outside the\u00a070th\u00a0Street West\u00a0home captured images of an unknown white male stumbling onto the victim\u2019s property shortly after\u00a0midnight on Saturday, July 11.\u00a0 He initially tested the door handles of the victim\u2019s 2003 Chevy Cavalier, however once he realized the doors were locked, he walked along the perimeter of the property, however again didn\u2019t manage to successfully break in.\u00a0 After walking around the house, he took a quick break and leaned against another car in the driveway, leaving behind a set of handprints.\u00a0 The homeowner said he thought he heard an unusual noise during the night, and checked his home surveillance video the following morning. He told deputies that he did not recognize the man who tried to make entry into his car and did not give him permission to peruse his private property.\u00a0 Upon his identification, location and arrest, the suspect will be charged with attempted burglary.<\/p>\n
