The Kiwanis club every year does a major project once a year under the auspices of its national charter call &#8220;One Day&#8221;. The one day event is a one day of volunteering on a city or community level. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Commissioner Frank Mann was at the event and was so pleased of the Kiwanis showing volunteerism. He appreciated the Kiwanians painting the sign and said it really shows community spirit.<\/p>\n<p>The logo that is on the Wooden Nickel has now been trademarked by a local company Cherokee Publishing and Media Group Inc. in order to protect it for future generations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres volunteers paint Lehigh Acres sign.
