Chrysler 200 was traveling westbound on 4 ST W approaching the intersection with Gunnery Rd (CR 876). Lee County School Bus was traveling northbound in the left turn lane of Gunnery Rd approaching the intersection with 4 ST W. Kia Soul was stopped in the northbound lane of Gunnery Rd. The traffic signal north of School Bus and Kia at the intersection with Lee Blvd (CR 884) was solid red for northbound traffic. Chrysler 200 stopped at the stop sign on 4 ST W facing west at the stop sign at the intersection with Gunnery Rd. Chrysler 200 attempted to cross the three lanes of northbound Gunnery Rd to enter the left turn lane. Chrysler 200 entered the intersection and the path of Lee County School Bus. The right front of Lee County School Bus collided with the front of Chrysler 200 as in entered the left turn lane. The impact pushed the right front of Chrysler 200 into the left side and rear of Kia Soul. Lee County School Bus is a marked Lee County School Board bus. Lee County School bus was occupied by 20 students who were uninjured. The students were transferred to another bus for transport.
