The university has ordered six plain white fiberglass statues of Azul to be painted. They\u2019ll be installed in prominent spots around the FGCU campus. The university is now looking for a few good artists! Renderings will be accepted until January 19th, when the school will pock the top six designs.<br \/>\nThe idea is modeled after the University of Iowa where the school has dozens of \u201cHerky the Hawkeye\u201d statues, not only around campus, but also around town.
