utilizes an Academy Nominations Advisory Committee composed of accomplished community leaders, educators, and retired military officers to screen and personally interview prospective students seeking a nomination to one of the nation\u2019s four Service Academies.\u00a0 This process is designed to assure an objective process by which each candidate is assessed for their overall attributes relating to future success at the Service Academies, while serving our country.<\/p>\n<p>The Committee members volunteer their time for the interviews, with many of them having served for numerous years.
