In 1998 Brien Spina moved to southwest Florida from Boston, Massachusetts along with his parents. They had retired and brien was just about to get into the fishing business. After 3 years of experience he decided to open Captain Brien`s Seafood Restaurant on Marco Island.<\/p>\n
In 2005 Brien made his restaurant the first comedy club on Marco Island branding it the Off The Hook Comedy Club. Guests from all over enjoyed nights of laughter with celebrity comedians and an extensive menu of tasty food. In 2014 Brien decided to move his location to Ft, Myers. A Bonita Springs location is in the works.<\/p>\n
At the current time there are typically 5 or 6 shows per week. They begin on Thursday night and the last show is on Sunday evening. Occasionally there are limited special engagements during the week like there Open Mic Night.<\/p>\n

At the House of Brewz where OFF The Hook Comedy club is located they have over 150 tap beers to choose from. Their Signature Drink of this comedy club is the \u201cDonkey Punch\u201d which contains 13 different liquors for only $9 and there Signatures Dessert is the “Smack yo mama” chocolate cake.<\/p>\n
With funny comedians, great food, and wonderful service, Brien Spina has the recipe for success. I look forward to attending another show soon and I’m especially looking forward to having another mango daiquiri.
