{"id":33696,"date":"2014-11-19T23:20:42","date_gmt":"2014-11-20T04:20:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=33696"},"modified":"2014-11-19T23:20:42","modified_gmt":"2014-11-20T04:20:42","slug":"three-arrested-after-attacking-roommate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2014\/11\/three-arrested-after-attacking-roommate\/","title":{"rendered":"Three Arrested After<br> Attacking Roommate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-33697\" title=\"third aressted\" src=\"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/third-aressted-300x126.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"126\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/third-aressted-300x126.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/third-aressted.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>A Lehigh Acres man is recovering after being attacked by his roommates.<\/p>\n<p>According to a release, the victim was sleeping in his room at a residence in the 1300 block of Farmdale Street on November 14. \u00a0At around 1:30 a.m. his bedroom door was kicked in.<\/p>\n<p>The victim told Lee County deputies three people went into his room &#8212; two of them were identified as his roommates. \u00a0One roommate hit the victim in the head with an expandable baton, while another took his wallet.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->After obtaining a search warrant, deputies seized evidence &#8212; which lead to the arrest of three people.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives determined Brian Erwin, 33, was the roommate that struck the victim in the head &#8212; causing serious injury. \u00a0Erwin was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and armed occupied burglary.<\/p>\n<p>Stephanie Lanham, 34, and Guessly Deravine, 24, were also arrested in connection to the attack. \u00a0Lanham was charged with robbery while Deravine was charged with burglary with assault or battery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Lehigh Acres man is recovering after being attacked by his roommates.
