{"id":33368,"date":"2014-10-31T10:26:33","date_gmt":"2014-10-31T14:26:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=33368"},"modified":"2014-10-31T10:28:34","modified_gmt":"2014-10-31T14:28:34","slug":"lsco-deputies-investigating-armed-home-invasion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2014\/10\/lsco-deputies-investigating-armed-home-invasion\/","title":{"rendered":"LSCO Deputies Investigating<br> Armed Home Invasion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-18681\" title=\"Home Invasion\" src=\"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Home-Invasion.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/>Lee County deputies are investigating an armed home invasion in Lehigh Acres.<\/p>\n<p>It happened near the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Grant Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>According to Lee County Sheriff&#8217;s officials, they received a call about an armed home invasion at around 8:16 p.m. \u00a0Investigators tell us three Hispanic males knocked on the door of a house in the 1200 block of Grant Boulevard and forced their way inside.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Two people inside the home suffered minor injuries. \u00a0One person was taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Several K9 units and a helicopter are being used to search the wooded area nearby. \u00a0Deputies have told several residents in the area that they are looking for the suspects. \u00a0Neighbors have been advised to stay in their homes and call deputies if they see anything suspicious.<\/p>\n<p>Several blocks of Sunrise Boulevard were closed to traffic from Grant Boulevard to Canary Avenue as deputies continue their search, but have reopened.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lee County deputies are investigating an armed home invasion in Lehigh Acres.
