The store is being stocked this week and is expected to open on Oct. 16.<\/p>\n<p>The Publix supermarket is all new. The former building, which had been in Lehigh Acres for at least two decades at that location, was demolished to make room for an even larger supermarket, this time including a pharmacy.<\/p>\n<p>The much larger supermarket is located next to the World Gym, easy enough to spot. The shopping center has come to be called the Publix Shopping Center.
