And I have know him for more than 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>But the Fire Chief has put himself very precarious situation. Fight for the Lehigh Acres Community or Fight for the Fire Department.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Fire Fee Assessment is the only alternative we have right now.&#8221; said Chief Wayne in a email to the <em>Lehigh Acres Gazette<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m going taking he up on his offer, sitting down with him and have him convince me that fire fee assessment is the only alternative as I hope he will have a open mind to listen to cost saving \u00a0measures that the department has not tried from and readers of the <em>Lehigh Acres Gazette<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by Robert Anderson Publisher Lehigh Acres Gazette Though I do believe that Fire Chief John Wayne is honorable man and is the right man to lead the department.
