But that is not the real truth, there is the state law and county ordinances that will kick in and Lee County EMS will have to place ambulances in Lehigh Acres and will have to meet the set standards.<\/p>\n<p>Lee County Commissioner Frank Mann tells us in 2009, the county is ready to move equipment and manpower to Lehigh Acres, in the event the community loses its ambulance service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are aware of the assessment for Lehigh Fire that is going on the\u00a0Nov. 4ballot. We are working to develop a plan, should that ballot measure fail. \u00a0The county will\u00a0work with Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue to ensure there is continuous EMS coverage for the residence of Lehigh Acres.
