The victim, who is a retired cop, says three masked men woke him up with guns to his head and started yelling racist remarks. At one point, the victim says the gunmen told him, &#8220;We know you have money because you are white&#8221; and called him a &#8220;white racist.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><!--more-->The suspects then tied him up and ransacked his home &#8212; even hitting the fridge. Investigators say the masked men got away with two guns, a wallet and his cell phone.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Just like last weeks home invasion on Martin Avenue, the suspects tried to steal the man&#8217;s car &#8212; but they couldn&#8217;t open his garage door.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Crime scene investigators are dusting for finger prints, which could ultimately tie the two cases together if they are connected.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Lee County deputies are investigating a home invasion in Lehigh Acres that is very similar to one that occured last week on Martin Avenue.
