Editorial note<\/strong> — $292 flat rate is not a fair and equitable method<\/span> is makes the poor poorer and the rich richer \u2026 it taxes a smaller homes at a higher rate and larger homes at a lower rate.<\/p>\n

The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District will be held on\u00a0June 24, 2014\u00a0and will begin at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District, Station 104, 3102 16th St SW, Lehigh Acres, FL 33976<\/strong>.\u00a0 Meetings will\u00a0be conducted within the apparatus bay (accessible from the rear of the building) or in the classroom (accessible from the south parking lot). Accommodations for parking include the parking lot on the south and west side of building. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct District business and to take official action on any and all other business to come before the Board of Commissioners.
