\"\"Currently the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber Of Commerce is being sued for breach of contract by one of its former employees. The former employee Joseph Whalen was hired by the chamber as the President \/ CEO of then the Lehigh Acres Chamber Of Commerce. According to documents the Chamber did not fulfill the terms of the signed employment agreement. Whalen did offer at one time to settle this matter but documents show the Chamber’s executive board was stubborn to understand and voted to allow their insurance company to handle this matter.<\/p>\n

The Lehigh Acres Gazette<\/em>\u00a0tried reach out to the current President\/ CEO Inke Baker twice on Monday. First time we could hear her from her office as we were standing in the lobby of the Chamber, \u201cI\u2019m too busy and I do not want to see him!!\u201d Second time we tried to talk to her at the end of the Lehigh Acres Community Council meeting, she turn her back and walked away. Isn\u2019t Ms. Baker the voice and face of the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber Of Commerce?<\/p>\n

We tried to reach out to Mr. Angelo Fillippi the retained attorney for the Chamber and Mr. Benjamin Yormak the detained attorney for Joseph Whalen and as of dead line for this article no response from either.<\/p>\n

The only response so far was from the current Chairperson of the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber Of Commerce Al Deleon, \u201cWe (the board) have been advised by our attorney not to talk about this case\u201d.<\/p>\n

Documents seen be the Lehigh Acres Gazette<\/em> might indicate that the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber Of Commerce also owes back wages to Mr. Gary Bright. Bright now deceased \u00a0resigned from the position Nov 15, 2012 serving less than one year is the President \/ CEO of the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber Of Commerce.<\/p>\n
