Lizbeth Benacquisto<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Following the\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">announcement of\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Paige Kreegel\u2019s \u00a0for the congressional seat held by U.S. Rep. Trey Radel, and the launch of a new ad campaign by State Sen. Lizbeth Benacquisto, R-Fort Myers \u2014 who\u2019s said she\u2019s considering a congressional bid, attention turned to Benacquisto\u2019s Senate seat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If Benacquisto\u00a0runs for Congress this could put State Rep. Matt Caldwell, R-Lehigh Acres, in the column of likely Senate candidates. Matt Caldwell<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Caldwell said most of the House district he holds is in that Senate district, so he\u2019s familiar to voters and the issues.
