Weaver Hipps Elementary<\/strong>\u00a0has joined the\u00a0<em>Suitcases for Kids<\/em>\u00a0initiative, a nationwide project that aims to provide all foster children with suitcases that they may use to keep personal belongings in.\u00a0 Between\u00a0<strong>Monday, November 25<span style=\"font-size: 11px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Wednesday, December 18<\/strong>, students and staff members at the school will collect small suitcases (carry-on or child size), toothpaste, deodorant, small stuffed animals and blankets for foster children.\u00a0 All items must be new or in clean, gently used condition. The school would like to collect 300 suitcases for children in our community.
