{"id":24459,"date":"2013-06-24T23:04:31","date_gmt":"2013-06-25T03:04:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=24459"},"modified":"2013-06-25T12:15:44","modified_gmt":"2013-06-25T16:15:44","slug":"childs-death-investigation-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2013\/06\/childs-death-investigation-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Child&#8217;s Death <br>Investigation Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By LCSO<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-24460\" title=\"Child Drowning\" src=\"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Child-Drowning.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"149\" \/>On\u00a0Monday, June 24, 2013, at\u00a02:30 p.m., the Lee County Sheriff&#8217;s Office received a medical assistance call.\u00a0 The incident occurred at 5003 Lee Circle North, Lehigh Acres, Florida.\u00a0 Deputies responded to the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The caller advised a neighbor was performing CPR on a young child who had been under water for a length of time.\u00a0 Upon arrival, deputies continued life-saving efforts.\u00a0 Emergency medical personnel also arrived and transported the youth to a local hospital.\u00a0 The two-year-old boy was pronounced deceased at the hospital.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Due to the nature of the incident, Detectives with the Sheriff&#8217;s Office Major Crimes Unit were assigned to investigate.\u00a0 The child has been identified as Christian L.
