New Scholarship winners<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This fall the Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres will have 58 students enrolled in colleges and universities all across this great nation of ours.<\/p>\n

The students have been awarded and will be receiving $156,450 in Lehigh Acres Kiwanis Club Foundation scholarships.<\/p>\n

This year alone Kiwanis will be awarding 21 brand new scholarships to Lehigh Acres residents, while renewing 19 previous recipients, and still having 18 continuing students.<\/p>\n

The scholarships are funded because of the Kiwanis Thrift Store on Homestead Road.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Kiwanis Hometown Heroes are Deputy Steve Cart, George &Sandy Szymanski, Andrea Adams, John Phelps, Larry Gutridge.<\/p>\n
