Tonight was the Wrap-Up Party for the Relay for Life of Lehigh Acres, celebrating all the hard work and fundraising to put up a fight against cancer. Before tonight, Lehigh Acres Relay was able to raise just over $ 39,000, which is phenomenal. However, Lehigh Acres Relay was \u00a0just about $ 3,000 short of our goal of $ 42,000. All teams, committee members and volunteers did an outstanding job, working hard to make this event a full success, said Reisinger.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>And then, before the celebration and party was over, a miracle became reality. Volunteers and team members turned in just over $ 3,500 during tonight&#8217;s event, making the Relay For Life of Lehigh Acres one of the few area Relays to meet or exceed their goal.
