A Lehigh Acres man found himself behind bars after showing more loyalty to a friend than his boss, by assisting in the theft of an Xbox gaming system from his employer.<\/p>\n

Carl Harper<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Carl Harper, DOB 1\/22\/88, was jailed on charges of grand theft on March 26th<\/sup>\u00a0after store managers at the Wal Mart on Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, caught him on surveillance video helping an unknown white male conceal an Xbox gaming system.\u00a0 While Harper paid the price for his role in the escapade, in the<\/p>\n

form of a felony grand theft charge, his partner in crime has yet to be identified and arrested.\u00a0 Security footage from the store captured images of the male walking into the store \u2013 and now Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers hopes someone will be able to put a name and location with the face.\u00a0 The suspect being sought was wearing a red cap and left the store with the $300 device hidden underneath an oversized shirt \u2013 bypassing all registers and simply walking away with the stolen property \u2013 thanks to a little help from Harper.<\/p>\n
