We are so close to puting three good rounds together,&#8221; said head coach\u00a0<strong>Sarah Trew<\/strong>. &#8220;I am excited to put in some hard work the rest of the week and get to the next event.&#8221;<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Campbell won the tournament after posting scores of 299 on the final two rounds, for a total team score of 899 (301-299-299). Host College of Charleston led the tournament through the first two rounds but a final round total team score of 306 left them three strokes behind Campbell. Troy (906), Richmond (914) and UNCG (917) rounded out the final top five spots.<\/p>\n<p>The Green and Blue opened the tournament with a score of 311 (23-over par) to position themselves in a tie for seventh on leaderboard after day one. The Eagles stumbled on day two with a total score of 320 (32-over par) and dropped to the 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0spot on the leaderboard. In the final round, the Eagles fought back with a total score of 312 (24-over par) in the final round to climb into a tie for 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0place with a total team score of 943.<\/p>\n<p>Price has led the Green and Blue through all three rounds of competition. The sophomore finished the final round with a 6-over par (78), good for a tie for 41<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0place in the 172-player field.<\/p>\n<p>Redshirt freshman\u00a0<strong>Kristin\u00a0Swindell\u00a0(Bradenton, Fla.\/Braden River HS)<\/strong>\u00a0finished the tournament tied for 52<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0place with scores of 78-78-79 for a total score of 235, redshirt junior\u00a0<strong>Briana Carlson (Inverness, Fla.\/Citrus HS)<\/strong>\u00a0ended in a tie for 62<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0with a final score of 236 (82-81-73).<\/p>\n<p>Freshman\u00a0<strong>Sara\u00a0Detlefsen\u00a0(Eagan, Minn.\/Minnesota Virtual Academy HS)<\/strong>\u00a0and sophomore\u00a0<strong>Chelsea\u00a0Guoynes(Traverse City, Mich.\/Traverse City Central HS)<\/strong>\u00a0rounded out the FGCU scorecard in a tie for 85<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 123<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0place, respectively.\u00a0Detlefsen\u00a0faltered the final two rounds with scores of 80 and 83 after opening the tournament with a 77.
